itunes playlist enjoyment

i created an itunes smart playlist that dynamically tracks all of the music i’ve never listened to on my computer. this is not an entirely truthful playlist since i switched computers multiple times in the past year and the play count data never transferred w/ my itunes library. so of my 6865 songs, the playlist says 5192 have never been listened to. its my goal to sit through those 15.3 days worth of continuous music and have the playlist read 0 songs not listened to.

i was doing pretty well, having recently lowered the song count into the 4900’s. but yesterday i managed to get my hands on an additional 350 songs, bumping the song count back into the 5000’s. damn it! damn all that good music i had to get! well worth it, though. and i can listen on double-duty – my ‘0 listens’ playlist is updated as i listen to my ‘2 wks old’ music playlist!

yippee! smart playlists and databases are fun!
