i found this product at the brookstone store at DFW airport last weekend. this product is such a complete ripoff of bob & weebl, a great flash webtoon that i’ve visited off and on for roughly 4 yrs. weebl and bob are two egg-looking things. they wobble. here is an egg shaped product called bob. according to the sign, he wobbles. eerie coincidence? i think not. RIPOFF. unless of course the makers of weebl and bob licensed this. but i kind of doubt it.

Why is the bobble clock named Bob? I have been trying to figure out why without calling Brookstone…
Look you idiot, the Brookstone Bob clock isn’t a ripoff if weeble and bob at all. The idea of the clock was probably taken from the weeble wobble toys. They work on the same principle, an egg shaped object with a weight in the bottom lowering it’s center of gravity. If anything, Weeble and Bob was a rippoff of weeble wobbles.
ok, that’s probably true about the weeble wobbles. the brookstone clock is still a ripoff, though.
I love this thing its the greatist thing i have ever bought. the wobble effect is soo cool i also found this at an airport. thanks brookstone, you made my day!
